Students will explore how the land animals have changed over time and what effect introduced animals have had on the New Zealand ecosystem. Students will learn about local conservation efforts to help protect our native wildlife.

Working with model skulls and stone tools, students will try to piece together the human evolution process. We’ll compare a human skeletal model and a bonobo model, as well as discuss key pieces of evidence and dispersal theories.
